Discipline? At what age?
So Miss Molly has finally stopped fighting me for a nap so i figured its time to blog! My Question is of Discipline. When do you start? MollyJean is 16months old and some days there aren't words to describe the way she acts. Ok, so terrible two's i have heard about but honestly she hasnt even hit a year and a half yet! What do i do? I have tried the naughty chair...she doesnt stay sitting. So i put her in her high chair as the "naughty" chair. She doesnt care...she just gets back down after a minute and a half and does her "naughty" act again. Now when i say naughty i mean for example biting...bite her back? Thats what my mother would say if reading this...slap her in the face? Sorry dont believe in either one of those suggestions. Hitting only promotes hitting. Okay so i have a degree in Early Childhood but i think i might have skipped out on the chapter on discipline. What i remember is the "time out chair" and well its not working....be consistent i know i know...the biting seems to be getting better but she takes all the dvds and throws them on the ground, pushes buttons on the tv etc! Someone HELP!

Yeah, about the discipline thing, I've got nothin'. Every kid is so different. For example, T has always been so easy going. P has always been so independent. She always wanted to do it her way. K, well, K is just naughty. She's way too smart, and way too cute, and way too much like her daddy. Yeah, plus she screams a lot. So let's just say that I stink at the whole discipline thing.
I will keep checking back though, because if you get any good advice, I'm sure I could use it.
Oh, and by the way, sorry about the whole name thing over in your followers list. For some reason I can't get it to let me change my name, so I shall henceforth be known as 5p.4....................................!

I'm gonna send a little shout out to you over on my blog. Okay, not that I have a lot of readers, but maybe the 5 that like me will swing by. ;)
Oh wait, I just realized that I have the cure all for the DVD's. Don't actually fix the behavior. Just buy a gigantic shelf and put them inside the front closet and away from little hands. That seems to work for us. See. Don't take my advice.
