Family Traditions

FAMILY TRADITIONS

Our Family has a few traditions...

My favorite of course is the Iron Kettle in Candor NY. Every Fall we head out for a day in the cold to enjoy some food, pumpkins, haunted house, pumpkin throwing etc.

So of course as the photographer I assumed the role to make these memories!

Of Course First things First! Gotta Eat! Donuts, Hotdogs, Nachos, and my favoite Waffle Fries with EXTRA Cheese!

Miss Molly Jean, always alive and vibrant for Modeling for Mommys photos...she's one I can count on for happy faces and posing.

The Animals (smelly) are in this building. This year i took this picture versus pictures of animals. How many animal photos can you possibly have right? Plus these were cuter!

The Corn Maze! MOMMYS FAVORITE!! Daddy of course lead us to dead ends, I took over and got us out. It was so COLD!

The Gift shop. (Tricia I took these photos for you) Chalkboards! Great Ideas too..but i know my friends at the zoo could make something that looks even nicer then this for was less then 200.00 a piece!

We really had a wonderful time. Froze our butts off but it sure was worth it! First time we went I was pregnant with Miss Molly and her we are a few years later at the age of two. She wont remember these moments but I will. And I have the photos to prove it! Cant wait for HALLOWEEN NEXT!

An AWESOME Sunday!

We spent the day at the IRON KETTLE! We had a fabulous time! More pictures tomorrow when my computer is more cooperative!

A Better Day

Molly and I woke up to snow...not exactly what you want to wake up to when you have to be at the studio for a conference call at 8:45am.

So, well, WE SKIPPED IT!

Took the call from home, Daddy brought us Dunkin Donuts(our favorite) and we decided to take a easy day to ourselves!

Now I had some pictures to show but my husband seems to have misplaced my cord for my camera...

cant complain though,

at least he thoroughly cleaned for once!

No biggie, it certainly didn't grow legs and leave the house!

We'll find it.

So Miss Molly helped me clean the house, myself with my vacuum and Molly with hers. (This is where the pictures would have been nice)

To all of you mothers out there, when you run out of swiffers for the mop...don't get showered and dressed, just improvise!

Baby wipes and Clorox wipes can do just the job...double them up and there you have it!

A HOMEMADE SWIFFER WET!

So as we cleaned, we cranked the music loud so we could dance.

We did a fantastic JOB! The house is great, we still arent showered, instead were on the couch watching einstein, searching for circles throughout the house and eating our favorite snack (GOLDFISH-the cheesy kind)

We started some laundry, im realizing that there is only one cup of detergent left:(

Improvise??

HaHa don't worry I'm only kidding...

I wont be throwing any bars of soap or shampoo in the clothes...but I can tell you we certainly aren't going outside to buy more either..laundry can wait till tomorrow.

P.S. We looked at a house in HH yesterday, rent with the option to buy...good area, little small but doable. 1100 a month..uh no...not happening.

Good thing though is that god sent me that sign I desperately searched for....He is telling my family that there is hope! Or maybe he is telling us its time to move south- too expensive to live here where its nice?? Who knows, time will tell though.

Just a bad day....

Sitting here on this cold dark day...

Baby is finally asleep..and I have my half gallon of Cookies and Cream Ice Cream.

We didn't get the house, and to top it off, we keep getting a run around about when we will get our 500 deposit back.

God...When is it my turn?

Yes Lord I hear you..

No one has a MollyJean, TJ, nor a Tim.

But you took Buster Brown so can I have something in replace??

NO NO..not those crazy muts Maggie and Maezie..that doesn't count.

Please lord...I cried today, I need a sign to show me this is where we should be. That my 40 hours a week in a studio and without my family is really worth it.

Everyday goes by without them and it sends me seconds closer to a life without them.

I'm tired..exhausted really.

My blood pressure is high from the stress of everyday, bills, babysitters, bills, bills bills...

I'm miserable to everyone around me because I'm forgetting to see the positive.

I miss my husband right now, I miss my Matty...I miss my mother, sister and most of all Buster. My stomach hurts from the pain that lingers in my mind from the mind exhaustion. I sat next to the toilet last night nearly vomiting from the depression setting in. I know my angels are here, I just think there sleeping or maybe on vacation. I need some words of wisdom. Some lump some of money to fall from the sky. Buster to look at me and walk away. My best friend to hug me tight. And Molly to stop acting like shes two...

Sorry for anyone reading this who might be having a better day.

HALLOWEEN 2009

Last year Miss Molly was a Monkey (go figure right?) for Halloween.

The Monkey Costume as so very appropriate because her nickname has been monkey since day one.

So I stressed over this years costume. What could Molly be that could totally beat last years costume??

DOROTHY!!

Reason being?

My Papa used to sing "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" Rainbows, that song and the movie "The Wizard Of Oz" have been a memory of him since he passed in 1985.

Nothing could have fit Miss Molly better then this adorable costume..

of course there is next year that I now need to top from this year...

man do I stress or What?

This last one is my favorite..cute wig right? Nope not her real hair!!

So its been crazy...

Mom's been sick, sister was here to visit, Cousin Matty came to visit,

training new hires for the Christmas season..and of course Miss Molly yelling "MOMMY" every ten seconds! But I'm here, sick of course (and yes molly is still yelling mommy and trying to push buttons but I'm determined to make it through this blog).
